“you have embarked on an adventure as exciting as that of any explorer. Uncovering the source of the Nile or charting the course of the Amazon are outward parallels to the inner journey you are on today – a safari of the self and the spirit.”
SBB – right on. There are way too many things in our life or feelings that we have that we could make much more platable or even exciting if we approach them from the mindset of going on a safari. I’ve i’m going to invoke some 7 Habits here…we are shifting our paradigm to one of drudgery, hard work with little payoff to one of excitement, a journey that is essential to travel….a journey in which the journey is the end goal. Maybe we see some great animals or discover some things, but it’s going on the freaking safari which is really important.
Just like on a safari or an exploring expedition you are in search of something unknown, something new, something others haven’t experienced…or haven’t experienced in a long time; my travels with SBB are a freaking safari. I’m in search of something even more elusive and rare…my true self.
There have been reported sightings of the true blue MrsYunker…but she hasn’t been seen in the daylight in quite a while. I can’t wait to find her – I think I’ve started to see her shadow.
